Compare Dividend Stocks
Compare up to 5 dividend stocks side-by-side
How It Works - How does the comparison tool work?
The Compare tool puts up to five dividend stocks side-by-side on the same axes: price, current yield, payment frequency, Basic Dividend Formula, dividend-growth CAGR over 1y / 5y / 10y windows, and total return over the period you choose. An optional SPY benchmark row gives you an index baseline that does NOT count against the 5-ticker cap.
Each row gets winner badges - highest current yield, lowest BDF, highest 5y dividend growth, highest projected yield-on-cost, and highest total return over the selected period. Ties are broken by the order you typed the tickers.
Dividend-growth CAGR is computed with trailing-twelve-month (TTM) sums anchored at today, NOT calendar-year buckets. This absorbs special distributions and pay-date drift, and matches the convention used by dividend-data vendors. A ticker that cut its dividend to zero shows -100% (cut) as a feature, not a hidden detail. A recent IPO or initiator with insufficient history shows - in the CAGR columns.
The optional line chart below the table shows the projected per-share dividend over time for each ticker, using the real per-ticker 5y CAGR fed from the same data feed. The crossover point - where a low-current-yield fast-grower overtakes a high-current-yield slow-grower - is the most useful number on this page.
