What is YieldChampion?
How It Works - How does this site work?
YieldChampion is a free, ad-supported library of dividend and compound-interest calculators. Every calculator is paired with a from-zero explainer (see the "How It Works" section on each page) and an info tooltip on every term that might be unfamiliar. We never sell you anything, we never collect personal data, and we never tell you to buy or sell.
One number you will see across the site is the Basic Dividend Formula (BDF): the amount of capital you would need today, at the current price and dividend, to generate one dollar of monthly dividend income forever. It is a single tangible anchor for comparing very different stocks - $5 monthly REITs versus $400 quarterly blue chips - on equal footing.
